Lady Silvana: present in the councils, hostess, accomplice, and friend, thank you, Rocca Imperiale was all a surprise, I was expecting something great, in fact it is not only great, the local people are magical, loving, kind, the signs of life and the wrinkles of life experience are visible!. Here is the poet's Trattoria!... magical atmosphere, what a joy, I am 72 years old, I would like to experience it again several times!.. thank you!

You can’t get a more authentic Rocca cuisine experience than this! The time, effort and attention that go into the dishes… it’s truly moving. Silvana is a magician! Amazing food and homely feel!

As promised to the owner, I am writing my review as a celiac. The attention for those like me who have gluten problems is commendable. And I hadn't specified my allergy when booking! This meant that I had to give up a couple of starters, but which I would certainly have enjoyed if I had. So I recommend saying it right away! For the rest, what can I say... Genuine and tasty ingredients, worked with love and passion, which give life to excellent and delicious dishes. A very good house wine! And the owner is very attentive to everyone's needs. If we then add the beauty of the place and the entire village, we can say that it was an exceptional lunch!

We almost didn’t eat there, but I’m so glad we gave it a shot. A lot of reviews mentioned that there’s no menu, which initially threw us off, but it’s not entirely true. They offer you a few meal options, and you can decide between antipasti with primi or antipasti with secondi. Since there were two of us, we opted for both, and I have to say, it was absolutely worth it. The antipasti alone consisted of seven courses, and we cleaned every plate—it was that good. My girlfriend had the pasta with beef ragu, which was rich, flavorful, and incredibly filling, while I had the pork with spicy sausage, and it was hands down the best pork I’ve ever had (and I’m not usually a fan of pork). The sausage had just the right amount of spice, and I really enjoyed it. We ended the meal with a refreshing lemon sorbet for dessert. For the antipasti and meal combo, it was 30 euros per person, plus a little extra for dessert and drinks, bringing the total to 74. Some reviews said it’s pricey, but honestly, for the quality and quantity, it was a fantastic deal—the best meal we had in the region by far.

The tasting of appetizers were amazing and enough to get us full. This is where you can have a taste of the region's cuisine. It wasn't lemon season but we were able to taste the sweet Rocca Imperiale lemon peel on some dishes. The owner was very welcoming. Beautiful traditional atmosphere.

Best authentic food I’ve had since arriving in Italy, no English but luckily for a legend in the restaurant he helped us order. Service was amazing, the food was superb, the price was definitely worth it and I’d l go back night after night to experience this again.

Explore the ancient streets crawling up this hill long enough and you’ll find this tiny, family run trattoria. There is no menu. Just turn up and they’ll feed you whatever they have cooking. It’ll be one of the best Italian meals you’ve had. They don’t speak English so bring some basic Italian food skills.
